Do I need to have writing experience to join?
Absolutely not. This is a judgment-free zone. We believe everyone has a story and a unique voice, and we’re here to help each other discover and honor that voice—no credentials required.

What makes this writing group different from others?
Our group is centered on the process of writing. We value the act of showing up, exploring ideas, and connecting through shared creativity. It’s about about expression, reflection, and relationship.

What kind of writing will we do?
Each session may include guided prompts, free writes, storytelling, journaling, poetry, or dialogue-based pieces. All styles are welcome. There’s no “right” way to write here.

Will I have to share my writing?
Sharing is always optional. We encourage listening without judgment or analysis. If and when you choose to share on our website or zine, you’ll be met with attentive presence, not critique.

Is this a therapy group?
No, this is not therapy—but it can be therapeutic. Our intention is to offer a supportive, empathetic, and safe environment where your truth is heard and held with care.

What does “process over product” mean in practice?
It means we’re not critiquing grammar or form. Instead, we focus on the experience of writing—what comes up for you emotionally, creatively, spiritually, or intellectually. We write to understand ourselves and each other.

What does intergenerational connection look like in this group?
We intentionally bring together women across generations to celebrate diverse experiences and perspectives. It’s a space where stories and wisdom can be exchanged, where younger and older women learn from and uplift one another.
